The family of Herbert D. Hamm and Irene Wharton
Welcome to the Hamm Family Web page. Please join my cousin Roger Hamm and I (Mike McCollum) as we trace our Hamm and associated family roots.
To date, our Hamm family goes back to Pontoosuc, Il, where it's likely our gr gr grandfather, Jacob Hamm lived with his wife Christina Uhrig. Jacob's son Gayland Carl moved to Lee County, Iowa where he married Gertrude E. Skinner. They raised their family near Denmark, Iowa. Our Grandfather, Herbert D. Hamm was their son.

Our Grandmother Irene Wharton, was the daughter of Charles Wharton and Lillian Anna Day of Denmark, Iowa.
